We went to the doctor on Thursday. Brandon and I were able to hear Baby G's heartbeat loud and clear. His/Her little heart beat was nice and strong (in the 160s). It was the most amazing sound!! We found out that we have to wait 8 more weeks to find out the sex. We are so incredibly happy (and feel so blessed) that Baby G. is doing well!
This week, Baby G. is busy with thumb sucking, toe wiggling, and (not so cute but equally amazing) making urine and breathing amniotic fluid as the liver, kidneys and spleen continue to develop. Lanugo (thin, downy hair) is growing all over the body for warmth.
